I just love home movies . . . let me share my Sunday. Once again unexpectedly, the Flapperettes with the help, and support of others who love them too, launched into a new season. Full of style, grandeur, this group harkens back to a period in history when clubs were King and ol' Mackies back in town. Walter's sets were thrilling. Lighting magnificent. It gets better every time.
The show had a story and included fisty-cuffs. A fight scene that had us on the edge. "Cad", (who is Cad?) the newest Flapperette was all in-your-face with Walter's Arab Villain Sheik to rescue the Ladies. At last Tequila appears as the mysterious Jinn with a night-cap teaser and in a puff of smoke disappears leaving us spell-bound. It was great, I love this stuff.
