Designing Worlds DW331-Feed A Smile
In this episode, we visit the in-world home of non-profit Feed A Smile, aka Leben und Lesen in Kenya, which provides schooling and meals for a community in the slums of Nakuru, Kenya. We talk to the project's co-ordinator, Brique Topaz, and take a look around. We also include video sequences shot at the school in real-life Kenya.
Having seen the work the charity performs on the ground, we visit a major fund-raising effort for the foundation, the International Food Fair in Second Life, sponsored by well-known games designers MadPea Designs and talk to Kestrel, the project's co-ordinator.
